How To Get Outlook Contacts To iPhone
iPhone is the current trend in the mobile world. Many people buy it and go down with the problem in merging a new iphone with their respective contacts and calendar from the applications like Microsoft Outlook. If you are have a problem in merging the contact with the phone, then follow the following steps to get your processed information where you want it to be located:
STEP – 1: Connect the I-phone to the computer. Make sure that the iTunes is running. Select your phone under the category of devices in the iTunes left pane, if only necessary.

If you still find problem in synching the information into the iPhone, then check out the following steps:
- ITunes what you have, should be the latest. So, make sure that the iTunes are updated. If not, Go to the iTunes Help menu and check for the updates.
- Select the Edit option in the iTunes, then click on the Devices tab and select the Reset the Sync History. Resetting the Sync History is a must for achieving good results.
- In the Microsoft Outlook, disable the Non-Apple add-ins. This is done through deselecting the boxes in the Add-Ins dialog box. The Add-Ins dialog box opening is different in Outlook 2003 and in Outlook 2007. Hence, have a proper knowledge about the programs’ instruction help files. If necessary, refer them.
- It is recommended to have two users in the Vista’s User Account. If the Syncing process does not initiate, log off the current account then log into the new account and then try out the syncing process again.
- Check the installation process of iTunes. If possible, Uninstall and then Re-install the iTunes.
If all the above steps also does not work then check for the faulty account entered in the Microsoft Outlook. The corrupt entries in the outlook have an adverse effect on the Synching problems. Browse the entire account list in the Outlook and check for the garbled names. Delete the data when found corrupted and then restart the Synching Process.
