Why your System is slow

Here we listed some reasons why your system is slow and solution for rectifying it. Slow down of system performance is the pre-stage of Blue screen Problem and system crash problem. Lets move on to the reasons,

1. Overload During Start-Up :
Whenever you install any Application , the application loader will initialize when your starts your system. The more application software’s you have , the more loaders will starts with system boot. You can see the total number of programs starting while bootup by seeing Start->All Programs->startup.

Solution :
Before doing this create restore point/Backup your System. you can create a restore point from Start-> AllPrograms-> Accessories-> System Tools-> System Restore. Now goto Start->Run , then type MSConfig . You will see a System Configuration Utility window , where you can see INI files and startup files. Now goto Startup and uncheck unwanted programs [ You can remove every thing except Antivirus Programs ].

2. BIOS Overload :
Whenever system boots , BIOS perform certain test on IO devices to ensure system performance and to prevent major problems. However these test takes some time and will slow down the system start-up speed.

Solution :
Goto BIOS setup. Press F1 or F10 or supported key by your BIOS. Look for POST [Power On Self Test ] option , and enable it. Disable boot up floppy seek option and boot delay option. Also disable auto dictation of Hard disk and other IDE devices. This will speed up your boot time.
