Phonofone II IPOD Speakers

Do you know the amplification done by phonofone?

Phonofone can exploit the acoustics of horn and rate it high into an audio output of standard earphones to decibels of 55.55 is the maximum. Volume of the laptop speakers when calculated roughly.

What is the special about this amplification?

No employment of external power is done and no batteries are used to support this amplification. The phonofone inventively amplify the virtues of horn acoustics. When the active earphones are connected to the phonofone their treble buzzing is transformed, well within a fraction of time, into a rich and resonant sound.

The material used in the construction of phonofone is entirely ceramic. Phonofone configuration is very environmental friendly and ceramics by nature are inherently rigid and also resonant. Thus ceramics lend themselves well to this phonofone application. The current production of phonofone has reached 200 pieces and the color is black.

The following points gives us information about Phonofone-II Ipod Speaker.

  • Material :      Ceramic
  • Dimension :  11”x95”x20”
  • Colours : Black.

The following considerations are to be made to exploit the amplification potential of the phonofone:

  • Mp3 Player: In order to power a phonofone, the output of the full size Apple brand I pods and I pod minis are ideally suited. Before connecting the I pod to the phonofone, it is to be considered that I pod volume restriction must be overrided.
  • Head Phones: Head phones are restricted to apple brand only. Apple brand earbuds are highly recommended for this application. But a limitation is that the earbuds can start to degrade in the audio quality.
  • Mp3 Quality: The quality of all the music is not same. The baseline volume of each album or a song can differ from its peer groups very significantly if the music library of an individual consists of illegally downloaded material which we are sure it will not be. Still, if there is more variation, then by using 3rd party software try to adjust the gain (volume of each file accordingly). There is no responsibility for any of the damages that the software produces into the system.
  • Headphones Preamplifiers: If the volume from phonofone is required in large decibles means, then the solution is to buy a headphone amplifier. A headphone amplifier can defined as a device operated by battery of small size, which is placed in line between the Mp3 player and the earbuds. This type of device arrangement will lead to the increase of signal power to the headphones that result in a higher volume. A limitation in this consideration is that using a preamplifier can significantly reduce the earbuds life span. It should also be noted that preamplifier should be used with discretion. The horn of the phonofone-II IPod speaker is not just in market for an old school aesthetic. Due to the horn shaped speaker, the acoustics of the sound is boosted upto 55 decibles. These 55 decibels will not definitely disturb our neighbourhood but can fill the quiet room with beautiful melodies. The phonofone II IPod speaker have the vintage look, but is made of ceramics which does not affect the environment on recycling. Also these phonofone produce the same effect that gramophones but with usage of minimum power.

The phonofone II of basic white version cost around $5000 and black version for about $ 600.
