Yahoo is on a fire now and fighting hard for competing top social networking site. Yahoo now released “Fire Eagle”, a Social Networking Site which is based on location. Since this is location based social networking site, we can expect people to get more adhered towards fire eagle.
The beauty of this is the provision of location of the user either automatically or manually. Similar to other sites, it has added more fun full applications and embedded in it to make the user to stay in their site.
Yahoo research labs says that Fire Eagle is a new way to share your location with friends or with other websites and services. As compared to all location based services, it also generates a privacy or security question.. But interestingly, you can also lie in that.
Since it is location based which has been described above, it is map oriented. When you update your location your map updates according to your location and all applications are activated.
